The Bingo soybean variety was developed by a team of authors under the leadership of JSC 'SHELKOVO AGROKHM' and included in the registry of varieties allowed for cultivation in 2024. This is an early-maturing variety with a vegetative period of 108 days and an indeterminate type of development. Plants are of medium height - up to 90 cm, with reddish-brown pubescence on the stem and purple flowers. Leaves are compound with pointed-ovate leaflets, and seeds are yellow with a light-brown hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds is about 166.5 g. The height of attachment of the lower pod is 12 cm, which facilitates harvest collection.
Variety Bingo is distinguished by high yield: average yield based on state testing results is 28.8 c/ha, and maximum - 37.9 c/ha, achieved at the Lipetsk State Variety Testing Site. The plant has high resistance to lodging, which ensures yield stability. Additionally, the variety is resistant to major soybean diseases such as fusarium, ascochitis, downy mildew, and bacterial brown spot, which reduces the need for intensive plant protection.
Bingo requires well-drained soils with neutral or slightly acidic reaction (pH from 6 to 7) for optimal growth and development. Protein content in seeds reaches 43.4%, and fat - 19.5%, making this variety attractive for use in the food and feed industries. High adaptability and resistance to adverse conditions allow the variety to be successfully grown in various regions, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.
