SA 4725 A is a simple modified hybrid sunflower, resistant to tribenuron-methyl (SU) with a recommended application rate of 50 g/ha, designed for intensive cultivation under the herbicide Granstar. The hybrid has a vegetation period of up to 115 days, plant height of 165-170 cm, and a large flat head with a diameter of 18-24 cm. The plants have high leafiness, which promotes good growth and protection against adverse factors. Seeds have a 1000-seed mass of 61-62 g, shell purity of 99.7%, oil content of 50-52%, and meal content of 21-22%. The genetic yield potential reaches 60 centners per hectare.

SA 4725 A exhibits high resistance to seven races of downy mildew (A-G+) and false powdery mildew, as well as to gray and white mold and rust. It is adapted to adverse environmental conditions, showing high drought tolerance and low shattering, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. It is recommended to follow crop rotation and isolate from linseed sunflower crops at a distance of no less than 200-400 meters to prevent cross-pollination.

SA 4725 A is optimized for use with the herbicide Granstar and is suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe and northern-steppe regions. The yield of the hybrid depends on soil moisture levels: under insufficient moisture, it yields 40-45 thousand plants per hectare; under moderate moisture, 45-55 thousand; and under sufficient moisture, 55-60 thousand plants per hectare. This hybrid is a modern solution for farmers aiming to obtain a high and stable sunflower yield with high oil content.
