Sunflower N4H404 CL is a high-oleic, mid-maturing hybrid developed using Clearfield technology by Nuseed. This hybrid features an extensive type and a vegetation period of 109–114 days, ensuring optimal maturity under various climatic conditions. Plant height reaches 160–175 cm, and oil content in seeds varies from 47 to 54%, with oleic acid content in the oil reaching up to 92%, making it especially valuable for producing high-quality oil with improved properties. Hybrid N4H404 CL exhibits high resistance to a wide range of stress factors, including drought, cold, lodging, and various diseases such as white mold, fusarium, fusariosis, and nematodes of all races (A–G), including race H. This resistance ensures stable yields even under adverse conditions. The recommended seeding rate is 45–55 thousand seeds per hectare, promoting optimal plant development and maximum productivity. Clearfield technology, used in cultivating this hybrid, ensures effective weed and nematode control, significantly simplifying agronomic practices and enhancing economic efficiency of production. N4H404 CL is characterized by adaptability and tolerance to growing conditions, making it a universal choice for various regions. High yield potential, reaching 30–50 ц/га (up to 5.9 т/га), combined with the quality characteristics of the oil, makes this sunflower attractive for farmers focused on producing high-quality oil and sustainable agriculture.
