Sunflower R 37 is a medium-early linoleic hybrid with a vegetation period of about 105 days, possessing high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions. Plants reach a height of 165–180 cm and have a flower head diameter of 22–24 cm with a downward tilt, which facilitates effective yield formation. The hybrid is characterized by a high oil content in seeds — around 50–51% — making it attractive for oil production.

Hybrid R 37 exhibits high resistance to various races of downy mildew (A–E), as well as tolerance to diseases such as frogeye leaf spot, false powdery mildew, mildew, and sclerotinia. It also shows high drought and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yield even under adverse climatic conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 50–60 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55–65 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture.

Hybrid R 37 is optimized for cultivation using Clearfield technology and is resistant to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, which simplifies weed control and enhances the effectiveness of agronomic practices. Thanks to its high yield potential — up to 30–54 centners per hectare — and adaptability to various climatic zones, this sunflower is an excellent choice for intensive cultivation technologies, especially in steppe and forest-steppe regions.
