Attraction — this is a classic mid-early winter rapeseed hybrid that demonstrates high genetic yield potential when sown at optimal or early times. Thanks to modern selection technologies, the hybrid exhibits increased resistance to major diseases and is capable of providing stable and high yields under various soil-climatic conditions, making it one of the leaders in the Ukrainian market.
For successful cultivation of Attraction, special attention should be paid to mineral nutrition. Rapeseed requires significant amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium for yield formation: on average, 50–60 kg of nitrogen, 25–35 kg of phosphorus, and 40–60 kg of potassium are used per ton of product. Applying fertilizers at the calculated rate N60P55K30 promotes better plant development and reduces the population of pests such as cruciferous aphids, rapeseed flea beetles, and cabbage aphids. However, it is important to maintain a balanced nitrogen supply, as deficiency leads to yellowing and leaf drop, while excess causes excessive growth and reduced plant resistance.
Protecting crops from pests during the autumn period is especially important, as rapeseed is particularly vulnerable at this time. Delayed application of insecticides may result in significant yield losses. It is recommended to use the two-component contact-system insecticide Venon, containing clothianidin and alpha-cypermethrin, which provides reliable and long-lasting protection against a complex of dangerous pests, helping to preserve crop density and health.
