Description PH 1024 B
PH 1024 B — a mid-maturity sunflower hybrid, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe regions, including drought-prone areas. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability to water deficit and is suitable for extensive and medium-intensity cultivation technologies. It is recommended to use the Express® technology for effective weed control, and to sow at optimal times with soil fertilization to achieve maximum yield.

PH 1024 B plants exhibit rapid early development, medium flower emergence rate, and relatively low height during maturity. The seeds have high oil content, making the hybrid attractive for oilseed production. The hybrid is resistant to lodging and exhibits high tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, verticillium, fomopsis, sclerotinia, and black mold. Additionally, it is insensitive to rust and alternaria pathogens, and effectively resists parasites of the genus Sclerotinia in races A-G.

PH 1024 B demonstrates stable yield, ranging from 28.4 to 43.6 centners per hectare across various regions. The recommended seeding rate is 40–60 thousand seeds per hectare, depending on soil moisture level. High oil and oleic acid content in the seeds make this hybrid a promising choice for producing high-quality sunflower oil.
