Sunflower CODIFLEX

Controlled weed management in sunflower production

The Codiflex hybrid from the French breeder Caussade Semences is designed for fields where weed pressure limits crop productivity. By utilizing the Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) herbicide technology, growers can effectively manage both grass and broadleaf weeds in a single pass. This approach is particularly effective in moisture-stressed environments, as it eliminates the need for mechanical weeding and helps preserve soil water content.

Robust disease resistance

The primary advantage of Codiflex is its balanced genetic defense system. With proven resistance to Downy Mildew (Peronospora), Phomopsis, and Phoma, this hybrid reduces the need for repeated fungicide applications. Agronomists targeting fields with a high history of these pathogens benefit from a more predictable growth cycle and reduced risk of lodging or premature senescence.

Field management tips

• As a simple hybrid type, Codiflex exhibits uniform height and maturity, which simplifies harvesting operations and reduces grain loss at the header.
• Best implemented in intensive farming systems where precision weed control using the Euro-Lightning program is a priority.
• Recommended for growers seeking consistent yields and a predictable output even in challenging phytosanitary conditions.

By choosing Caussade Semences' Codiflex, you are investing in a reliable solution for high-yield sunflower production, balancing weed management efficiency with strong genetic protection against the most common diseases.
