NA Tesan

The hybrid sunflower "NA Tesan" is a high-yielding and high-oil content variety developed for cultivation using the SUMO technology and the herbicide Granstar. This mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of 108 to 116 days is characterized by a high yield potential of up to 55 centners per hectare and an oil content of 49-50%. It is intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine, confirming its adaptability to various climatic conditions of the region.

"NA Tesan" features a strong root system and a robust stem height of 160-170 cm, ensuring resistance to lodging and shattering. The sunflower head has a diameter of 21-25 cm, a thin convex shape, and a downward-facing orientation. The seeds are black, elongated, with a 1000-seed weight of 70-75 g. Fungicide seed treatment enhances their protection and promotes successful growth.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to stress factors and diseases, including resistance to 7-8 races of the parasitic weed flax rust (A-G+), as well as tolerance to powdery mildew, fomopsis, fomosis, and rust. Due to these qualities, "NA Tesan" is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
