Sunflower 1100 ST

Yield Stability Under Stress

The «1100 ST» sunflower hybrid from NPO Galaktika is a specialized simple hybrid designed for farmers who prioritize predictability and technological efficiency. The main strength of this hybrid lies in its adaptability to intensive protection systems, specifically its full compatibility with the 'Euro-Lightning' (Clearfield) technology. This provides farmers with a powerful tool for controlling weeds and broomrape, minimizing losses in fields with high infestation levels.

Agronomic Advantages

• Genetic Protection: The hybrid demonstrates a high level of resistance to critical diseases such as downy mildew, phomopsis, and phoma, significantly reducing the need for fungicide treatments.
• Economic Efficiency: Oil content ranges from 50% to 55%. Combined with a large head size, this ensures high marketability of the yield, which is a key profitability factor for processing facilities.
• Vegetation Period: With a maturation period of 110–120 days, the «1100 ST» is a balanced solution for most climatic zones, allowing for flexible harvest planning.

Who is this for?

The «1100 ST» is an optimal choice for farms utilizing Clearfield/Euro-Lightning technology. If your priority is field cleanliness and a stable output of high-oil content crops with controlled chemical costs, this hybrid will justify the investment. A minor consideration is the need for strict crop rotation due to the use of imidazolinone herbicides; however, in professional farming, this is standard practice for field management.
