1100 ST

Sunflower 1100 ST is a simple mid-early hybrid characterized by high yield and adaptability to various agroclimatic conditions. The vegetation period is approximately 110 days, making it suitable for effective cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones. The hybrid forms large heads and is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 50 to 51% — making it attractive for oil production.

One of the key features of sunflower 1100 ST is its resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl (e.g., Granstar), which provides effective weed control and helps preserve the yield. Additionally, the hybrid shows tolerance to new races of sunflower splitting disease, enhancing its reliability under drought and adverse weather conditions. Good pollenization of the head contributes to stable seed formation and high productivity.

Sunflower 1100 ST is recommended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, especially in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions, where it demonstrates the best yield performance — up to 54 centners per hectare.
