MAS 81C

Sunflower MAS 81C is an early-maturing linoleic-type hybrid with a vegetation period of 100 to 108 days. It is a medium-height plant with a flat, upright head. This hybrid is characterized by high yield stability and high oil content in the seeds, reaching 49-53%. The 1000-seed mass is 58-62 grams, indicating good seed quality and potential for high yields.

MAS 81C has high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, allowing successful cultivation in regions with low accumulated active temperatures, such as the Forest Steppe and Steppe of Ukraine. The hybrid demonstrates excellent drought resistance and early growth vigor, facilitating efficient use of soil moisture. Sowing is recommended at optimal early dates, when the soil temperature reaches the minimum allowable level, in accordance with crop rotation rules.

Special attention has been paid to the disease and pest resistance of MAS 81C. The hybrid is genetically resistant to seven races of downy mildew (A, B, C, D, E, F) and offers protection against common sunflower diseases such as head and stem rot, powdery mildew, and phomopsis. Seed treatment is performed using AGROSTART and PONCHO D150 technologies, further enhancing their protection and viability. The potential yield of MAS 81C reaches 50-59.4 c/ha, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality yields.
