Sunflower EXCELLENT

Excellent — a mid-early type sunflower hybrid designed for Express® herbicide protection technology (50 g/ha). It has a vegetation period of 105–120 days, plant height of 160–170 cm, and no branching. The hybrid features good uniformity and simultaneous maturation, facilitating harvest and ensuring stable yields. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 53 g, leaf color is green, with yellow disc flowers and weakly expressed marginal stripes on seeds. Excellent exhibits high drought resistance, enabling successful cultivation across various regions, including Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and Ural. The hybrid is resistant to Express® herbicide and possesses horizontal resistance to downy mildew, as well as resistance to white mold and is practically unaffected by dry rot under field conditions. This makes it a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and high yields. The hybrid’s productivity potential reaches over 50 centners/ha, with oil content in seeds ranging from 48.5% to 52%, ensuring high oil content. Excellent is one of the most popular hybrids from the company “AGROPLAZMA” and is recommended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones where resistance to stress factors and effectiveness of plant protection technologies are crucial.
