Limagrain's hybrid sunflower LG 59580 is a mid-early express hybrid with a vegetation period of 106–110 days. Plants reach a height of approximately 155 cm, with an average flower head diameter of 15.8 cm. The thousand-seed weight is 72 g, indicating large seeds. The hybrid has high oil content, ranging from 48–52%, which ensures a profitable oil yield.

LG 59580 exhibits high resistance to seedling flea beetle (A–G races), making it especially valuable in regions where this problem is prevalent. Additionally, the hybrid shows tolerance to several diseases, including fomopsis, gray and white mold, black mold, and powdery mildew, contributing to stable yields. The hybrid is also tolerant to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl (Express), enabling effective control of broadleaf weeds without negative soil impact.
