Description Harper
Winter rapeseed Harper — a high-yielding hybrid of Ukrainian selection, with high resistance to imidazolin-based herbicides. This variety is characterized by its adaptability to sowing dates and is suitable for early sowing, without overgrowing and without requiring growth retardants in autumn. Harper is characterized by high resistance to drought and frost, allowing successful cultivation in the southernmost regions. The vegetation period ranges from 305 to 310 days, and the maturity group is medium-early.

The Harper hybrid demonstrates high yield potential — up to 69 centners per hectare under the condition of mineral fertilizer application. Plants reach a height of approximately 174 cm, branch well, and are not prone to cracking before harvest, which helps maintain the quality of the harvest. Seeds are coated and packed in paper bags, ensuring convenient storage and sowing. One sowing unit contains approximately 1.5 million seeds.

Winter rapeseed Harper is cultivated as raw material for oil and biofuel production, with oil content in seeds reaching 48%. Due to its resistance to a broad spectrum of fungal diseases and weeds, crop management is simplified and becomes more efficient. High resistance to lodging and shattering allows for quality harvest retention even when harvesting is delayed.
