Sunflower LGR 3728 E is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid designed for cultivation under conditions of insufficient moisture and arid regions. It exhibits high resistance to various biotypes of downy mildew, including six major biotypes, ensuring reliable protection of crops from parasitic plants. The hybrid shows high tolerance to diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomopsis, and root sclerotinia, contributing to stable growth and high yields even under adverse climatic conditions.

Sunflower plants of LGR 3728 E reach a height of 175-185 cm and have a vegetation period of approximately 90-95 days, enabling efficient use in areas with short growing seasons. The flower head is convex in shape, and the seeds are characterized by high oil content potential, reaching 48-52%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality oil. The yield potential is up to 45 ц/ha, with maximum yields in steppe zones reaching 28 ц/ha.

Sunflower seeds of LGR 3728 E are treated with a three-component fungicide, providing protection against a broad spectrum of diseases, further enhancing germination energy and plant viability. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture levels: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and up to 55 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture. Due to its drought tolerance, low maintenance requirements, and high adaptability, this hybrid is an optimal choice for cultivation in southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.
