Sunflower LG 50500

Sunflower LG 50500 is a mid-early hybrid with linoleic type, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and northern steppe zones. Plants are medium-height, reaching an average height of about 159 cm, with a flower head diameter of approximately 18 cm and an average 1000-seed weight of 60 g. This hybrid exhibits high plasticity, enabling successful adaptation to various growing conditions, including dry periods, thus consistently showing high yield potential.

One of the key advantages of LG 50500 is its high oil content and resistance to major sunflower diseases. The hybrid has the highest tolerance to brown rust, as well as resistance to new strains of false powdery mildew and downy mildew races A-F. Additionally, it demonstrates good resistance to such diseases as Phomopsis, root and head rot, anthracnose and dry rot, as well as Fomosis, ensuring reliable protection and stable yield.

To achieve maximum potential, it is recommended to use classical intensive cultivation technology while following recommended seeding rates: 43-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, up to 55 thousand under adequate moisture. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units. LG 50500 is an optimal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high sunflower yield with high oil content and reliable disease resistance.
