LG 50501 CLP

Sunflower LG 50501 CLP is a new mid-early hybrid developed for cultivation in risky farming zones. It features high drought and stress resistance, making it optimal for various climatic conditions, including Steppe and Forest Steppe. Plants reach a height of about 160 cm, with a flower head diameter of 15-16 cm. The hybrid belongs to the extensive type and possesses high initial growth energy, promoting rapid development and crop formation.

One of the key features of LG 50501 CLP is its resistance to ragweed: the hybrid is genetically resistant to more than seven strains of this parasite, and also exhibits resistance to the herbicide Evolight Plus, allowing farmers to independently choose cultivation technology in areas where ragweed is prevalent. Additionally, the sunflower demonstrates high tolerance to major crop diseases such as fusarium, fusariosis, various types of rot, and new strains of downy mildew (peronosporosis).

The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential and high oil content, making it attractive for producers focused on oil content. The recommended seeding density at harvest time is up to 55,000 plants per hectare in zones with sufficient and moderate moisture, and 45-50,000 plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture. These parameters ensure optimal resource use and maximum crop productivity.
