Sunflower KM 215

Stability and Physical Parameters of KM 215

The KM 215 sunflower from NPO Galaktika is a prime example of breeding focused on predictable results in the field. Unlike ultra-modern intensive hybrids that require perfect conditions, this variety demonstrates adaptability to variable climatic factors, making it a reliable choice for farms aiming to minimize risks when growing oilseeds.

Biological Features and Dimensions

The main visual and functional distinction of this model is its height. The stem reaches 190–200 cm, ensuring significant biomass and effective competition with weeds during the early stages of development. The flattened shape of the head promotes uniform ripening of seeds, which minimizes losses during threshing and simplifies the adjustment of combine headers.

Reasons to Choose KM 215

• Optimal Architecture: A tall stem and well-proportioned head facilitate mechanized harvesting.
• Predictability: Adaptability to various soil types allows the hybrid to be used in fields with uneven terrain.
• Quality Control: NPO Galaktika’s own breeding facility guarantees the purity of the seed material.

KM 215 is a solution for farmers who prefer a balanced model of crop development. It is forgiving of minor technological oversights, yet when nutrient and protection protocols are followed, it reveals its yield potential, comparable to more expensive imported analogs. It is a workhorse that, with the right approach, ensures a stable yield of oilseeds per hectare without excessive investment in super-active growth stimulants.
