ARIDINA — this is a mid-early sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield® technology, providing high weed resistance and optimal combination of early maturity with productivity. The hybrid features large and deep kernels, contributing to high yield potential exceeding 40 centners per hectare. Plant height is medium, around 160 cm, with good uniformity in height and simultaneous maturity, facilitating harvest and improving crop quality.
ARIDINA is distinguished by high stress resistance and stability under various soil-climatic conditions. The hybrid is resistant to five strains of downy mildew (A, B, C, D, E), significantly reducing yield losses from this pest. Additionally, it has moderate resistance to false powdery mildew, but is susceptible to white mold, which should be considered when selecting agronomic practices. Oil content in the seeds is approximately 50%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production.
Recommended growing regions for ARIDINA include the North Caucasus, Volga-Vyatka, Central, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions. Average yields in the Central Chernozem region reach 32.9 centners/ha, and in the Middle Volga region — 30.6 centners/ha. The hybrid is suitable for extensive cultivation and widely used in agriculture due to its reliability and high productivity.
