Description ES MEMPHIS SL
ES Memphis SL is a mid-early two-line sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation in various regions, including forest-steppe and steppe. The vegetative period is about 126 days, which allows the hybrid to successfully adapt to climatic conditions and ensure a stable yield. Plants have medium height at maturity, green leaf coloration with the absence or very weak blistering, and yellow ray florets. Seeds are characterized by distinct marginal stripes and a mass of 10,000 seeds of about 58.4 grams. The hybrid is distinguished by high oil content in seeds — about 50%, which makes it high-oil and profitable for oil production. Average yield is 17.6 centners per hectare, while maximum indicators reach 40 centners per hectare under favorable conditions. Fat content in seeds reaches 50.1%, and oil collection can be up to 10.5 centners per hectare. ES Memphis SL has moderate resistance to white mold, but under field conditions may show some susceptibility to Phoma. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Altai Krai and the West Siberian region, and is suitable for growing in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Due to its characteristics, ES Memphis SL is an effective oilseed sunflower with good adaptability and stable productivity, which makes it an attractive choice for agricultural producers focused on obtaining high-quality oil and resistance to adverse conditions.
