ES MEMPHIS CL

Sunflower ES MEMPHIS CL is a high-oleic hybrid of the Clearfield Plus segment, classified as a medium-early, moderately-intensive type with a maturity period of 106-110 days. This hybrid is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions, ensuring its wide application in the agricultural sector. The seeds have an extra fraction and undergo fungicide and insecticide treatment, which contributes to plant protection and increased yield.

One of the key features of ES MEMPHIS CL is its high resistance to sunflower diseases, especially rust and verticillium, as well as genetic resistance to eight races of sunflower downy mildew (wolf) thanks to Clearfield Plus and OR Master Premium technologies. This allows for significant reduction in crop losses and increased production stability. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture levels: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture.

The hybrid has a high oil content in seeds – 49-51%, with a high level of oleic acid (90-91%), making it especially valuable for producing high-quality vegetable oil. The yield of ES MEMPHIS CL ranges from 4.0 to 4.6 tons per hectare, confirming its economic efficiency. The seeding unit contains 150,000 seeds, designed for an area of 2.2–2.5 hectares. The hybrid is produced in Ukraine, ensuring compliance with local agroclimatic conditions and market requirements.
