Hemp Globa

Engineered for Industrial Resilience

The 'Globa' variety, an achievement of the Institute of Organic Agriculture, stands out in the Ukrainian hemp market as a low-maintenance, high-stability crop. Unlike many industrial varieties that require intensive chemical intervention, 'Globa' is designed to withstand local environmental challenges.

Strategic Advantages for Producers

The primary edge of 'Globa' lies in its genetic resistance to Fusarium and the European corn borer (Sesamia). In a climate where pest pressure is increasing, this natural resilience serves as a significant economic buffer, saving producers from costly pesticide applications.

• Vegetation period: 130-140 days, which is optimal for biomass accumulation and fiber quality.
• Zero THC content: Ensures full compliance with strict regulatory standards and simplifies certification for commercial use.
• High competitive ability: The crop's vigorous initial growth effectively suppresses weed germination.

Who should choose this variety?

This variety is tailored for agricultural enterprises focusing on consistent yields of high-quality fiber and seeds. It is a robust option for those transitioning to sustainable farming practices. However, it requires careful management of sowing dates. Due to the 130-140 day maturity cycle, it is best suited for regions where late-season moisture allows for uniform harvesting, ensuring the plant reaches its full genetic potential without risking quality degradation during autumn rains.
