Energik RMO is a high-yielding hybrid sunflower of high oleic type, characterized by high oleic acid content in the seeds (88-92%) and oil content at 47-49%. This hybrid has a yield potential up to 48 c/ha and is well adapted to various soil-climatic conditions, particularly recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine. The vegetative period is 105-110 days, allowing effective planning of agricultural operations. Energik RMO plants have a height of 170-180 cm, exhibit intensive growth in early vegetative stages, and have excellent leafiness. The stem is of medium thickness, and the root system is powerful and branched, enabling utilization of soil moisture from depths of 1.5-2.5 m, which is particularly important for the hybrid's drought tolerance. The head is thin, convex, semi-downward oriented, with a diameter of 19-22 cm, and full seed fill. The seeds are black, elongated, with a 1000-seed mass of up to 75 g, and a hull content of 21-23%. The hybrid is tolerant to herbicides of the imidazolinone group, facilitating weed control. Additionally, Energik RMO has high resistance to new strains of sunflower moth (resistance classes A-E), ensuring reliable protection of the crop from this pest. To prevent diseases such as white and gray mold of sunflower, it is recommended to follow agronomic preventive measures, which contribute to maintaining plant health and increasing yield.
