DRACARIS CLP sunflower is a mid-maturing hybrid of the oilseed type, developed for cultivation using the Clearfield Plus technology. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, enabling successful cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones. The vegetative period averages 110-115 days, during which it forms a robust stem reaching 164 to 193 cm in height and a flower head with a diameter of 16-17 cm. The 1000-seed mass at standard moisture content ranges from 66-69 g, and oil content in the seeds varies from 47 to 50%. One of the key features of DRACARIS CLP is its high resistance to major sunflower diseases. The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to false powdery mildew due to the presence of the PL9 gene, and it is also resistant to downy mildew strains A-F, rust, alternaria, black mold, and phomopsis, as confirmed by high resistance ratings. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high drought and heat tolerance, resistance to lodging and seed shattering, contributing to stable yields under diverse climatic conditions. The recommended seeding rate for DRACARIS CLP depends on soil moisture levels: under insufficient moisture, the optimal density is 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare, while under adequate moisture, it is 55-65 thousand seeds per hectare. The average yield of the hybrid in local soil-climate conditions exceeds 33 ц/ha, and in hotter, drier regions, it reaches approximately 22 ц/ha. Seed packaging is done in quantities of 150 000 units, which is convenient for farmers using Clearfield Plus technology for effective weed control and increased productivity.
