Sunflower Derkul

Genetic Potential and Hybrid Architecture

The «Derkul» sunflower hybrid from the «Technauka» brand represents a balanced solution for intensive farming. Its structure, as a three-line hybrid, provides both operational stability and uniform crop development. Reaching a height of 160–170 cm, the plant optimizes the distribution of photosynthates into the head, which is crucial for reducing harvesting losses and ensuring mechanical efficiency.

Phytosanitary Shield: Disease Resistance

«Derkul» features a robust immune system designed for high-pressure environments. The genetic resistance to white and grey rot effectively blocks pathogen development during critical growth stages. Moreover, its resilience against Phomopsis, Phoma, rust, and powdery mildew significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, keeping the plant healthy throughout the entire vegetation cycle.

Productivity and Oil Content

With a growing season of 100–110 days, «Derkul» is categorized as a mid-early hybrid, allowing for efficient use of available soil moisture. The high oil content, ranging between 50–55%, provides a clear economic advantage, meeting the demands of modern oil processing facilities that prioritize high-quality raw materials.

• Type: Three-line hybrid
• Vegetation period: 100–110 days
• Oil content: 50–55%
• Plant height: 160–170 cm

The practical value of this hybrid lies in its predictability. Under various climatic conditions, «Derkul» maintains yield stability despite temperature fluctuations, serving as a reliable choice for commercial crop rotation programs.
