Plants reach an average height of about 170-180 cm, have medium-intensity green leaves, and lack branching, which simplifies care and harvest. Flowering is late, the head is slightly convex with a diameter of 20-22 cm, and the ray florets are yellow. The hybrid has a high yield potential, reaching up to 50 centners per hectare under intensive cultivation practices, including proper crop rotation and weed control. The average yield in the Central Black Earth region is about 31.6 centners per hectare, and in the Lower Volga region — 18.3 centners per hectare. The 1000-seed mass varies from 48 to 53.4 g depending on the region. Seeds are characterized by weakly expressed marginal and intermarginal stripes, which is a feature of this hybrid. BT BDA 04 has high resistance to diseases, drought, and lodging, as well as resistance to downy mildew up to F resistance level, making it a reliable choice for farmers. Oil content in seeds ranges from 47.7% to 52.5%, ensuring high-quality raw material for oil production. Rapid start and early development in the initial stages of organogenesis contribute to good seedling establishment and yield formation even under challenging conditions.
