Description SUNNY SALUTE
Sunflower variety «Sunny Salute» is a tall decorative plant reaching a height of about 150 cm and above. Its sturdy stems support several flower heads with a diameter of 10 to 15 cm, which differ in unusual coloring for a sunflower — dark red or burgundy color with a velvety texture and an impressive dark center. The flowers resemble dahlias and create a rich, expressive look that looks especially effective in flower beds and against fences, hiding from prying eyes. The plant blooms from July to September, sometimes until October, filling the garden with bright colors of late summer and autumn.

For successful cultivation of «Sunny Salute», it is recommended to choose sunny, wind-protected places with well-drained soil, as the culture does not tolerate waterlogging. Seeds are sown at a depth of about 2.5 cm, soaking them for a day beforehand and ensuring moisture for rapid germination — the first sprouts appear already after a week. The optimal distance between plants is about 40 cm, which promotes good development and a decorative effect.

This sunflower is excellent for group plantings, decorating fences and walls, creating picturesque compositions with a rich autumn palette. Its large, elegant flowers with pointed petals and dark green lanceolate leaves give the garden a special atmosphere, combining summer mood with the beauty of autumn flowering.
