MS FD 1106

MS FD 1106 is a single-stem triploid sugar beet hybrid developed by the Beletsovskaya and Ivanovskaya Experimental-Selection Stations of the Sugar Beet Institute. This hybrid is distinguished by high root yield, averaging 533 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of 17.2%. The sugar output is approximately 91.7 centners per hectare, making it an efficient choice for sugar production. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Polesie zones, where it shows stable results.

Sugar beet MS FD 1106 forms large root crops of cylindrical or conical shape with a firm white pulp, ensuring high-quality raw material for processing. The plant has a powerful root system that penetrates deep into the soil, providing resistance to unfavorable conditions and promoting good nutrition.
