BISON

The BISON sugar beet hybrid is a high-yielding diploid N/NZ-type variety with a high sugar potential of about 19.7%. This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to rhizomania and tolerance to root rot pathogens, ensuring crop stability even in fields with varying levels of nematode infection. Additionally, BISON shows medium resistance to diseases such as cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and ramularia, which further enhances its reliability under various agro-climatic conditions.

The BISON sugar beet is characterized by high plant growth energy and drought stress resistance, allowing for good yields on different soil types and under unfavorable weather conditions. The hybrid is recommended for late harvesting, which contributes to maximum sugar accumulation in the roots. At harvest, yield can reach 100,000 plants per hectare, indicating the high productivity of the variety.

Special attention is paid to the storability of BISON roots in storage containers, where they maintain their qualities for a long time, which is important for storage and transportation. The hybrid is registered in the Netherlands and Ukraine, confirming its adaptation to various regions and agronomic requirements. Seeds are supplied in pellet form, which facilitates sowing and ensures uniform germination.
