NEZHEGOL

The Nezhegol soybean variety represents a mid-early indeterminate plant type with medium to tall height. The plant is characterized by purple flowers, gray pubescence on the main stem, and acuminate-lanceolate leaflets of the compound leaf. The variety seeds are yellow with a gray hilum, possessing a tender texture and good taste. Plant height reaches about one meter, while 3–4 black seeds form in pods.

Nezhegol is adapted for cultivation in the Central Black Earth and Middle Volga regions, where it demonstrates high yield. In the Central Black Earth region, average yield is 24.6 c/ha, with a maximum indicator of 36.2 c/ha achieved at the Shchigrovsky GUS of the Kursk Region. In the Middle Volga region, average yield equals 18.2 c/ha, with a maximum of 32.0 c/ha at the Bekovsky GUS of the Penza Region. The growing period of the variety ranges from 117 to 121 days depending on the region.

Nezhegol seeds are distinguished by high nutritional value: protein content reaches 40.3% in the Central Black Earth region and 34.0% in the Middle Volga region, while fat content is 21.6% and 24.8% respectively. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 159 to 182 grams. Due to its characteristics and stable yield, the Nezhegol variety is a promising choice for agricultural production in the specified regions.
