RSC CORAL — a high-yielding early-maturing grain sorghum variety intended for grain production, as a cover crop, or for syrup production. One plant forms several thick, sweet stems over 2.5 meters long, each bearing a panicle with large, fully ripe purple seeds. The variety's seeds are versatile: they can be used to prepare various dishes, boiled, fried, or for other culinary purposes.
The variety is characterized by high yield and is adapted to the conditions of the North Caucasus region. The average grain yield is about 25.9 centners per hectare, exceeding standard indicators by 2.2 centners. The maximum yield recorded on an experimental field in the Republic of North Ossetia reached 65.8 centners per hectare. The weight of 1000 seeds is 26.7 grams, and the heading time is medium, which ensures ease of harvest collection.
RSC CORAL is the result of multi-year breeding work and has been awarded a prestigious prize from the Russian Academy of Sciences — the Alfred Nobel Medal. This variety combines high productivity, versatility of use, and adaptation to climatic conditions, making it an attractive choice for agricultural producers.
