Sorghum EUG2041F

Reliable Silage Solutions for Your Farm

When selecting sorghum for silage, the primary goal is to achieve high energy density biomass that remains healthy until harvest time. The hybrid EUG2041F from the French breeder Euralis Semences proves itself to be a reliable and professional-grade tool for this task. Breeder Franck Chauveau’s work is evident in the balanced growth pattern, which is noticeable from the very first passes of the combine harvester.

Protection and Yield Efficiency

Fusarium is often the biggest challenge when growing sorghum. The EUG2041F hybrid comes with built-in genetic resistance to fusarium, which allows farmers to optimize fungicide usage while ensuring top-tier silage quality. For an operator, this means fewer headaches during bunker filling: no mold risks and significantly higher feed preservation rates.

Operational Performance

• High biomass output: The crop responds exceptionally well to standard fertilizer protocols without requiring complicated special maintenance.
• Lodging resistance: The stalk remains strong and upright even when harvest is slightly delayed.
• Predictability: The hybrid follows a clear maturity cycle, allowing for precise scheduling of machinery and green mass logistics.

If you are looking for a predictable hybrid that withstands adverse weather conditions and consistently delivers clean, high-quality silage without excessive chemical intervention, this French-bred variety from Euralis Semences provides excellent value for every hectare planted.
