Sorghum 400X36 is a mid-season silage hybrid of sugar sorghum, widely used in alternative energy and as high-quality feed for livestock. This hybrid has a 'sterile' type, ensuring prolonged retention of green plant color throughout the season and preventing aging, thanks to partial grain formation. The presence of the CMR gene contributes to low lignin content, improving feed nutritional value. The vegetation period is 95-100 days, and plant height reaches 250-310 cm, which contributes to high potential silage yield — from 100 to 130 centners per hectare.

Hybrid 400X36 exhibits high resistance to adverse conditions, including abnormal drought, as well as to various diseases such as mold, helmintosporiosis, fusarium, and others. Resistance to stress factors and pests, particularly corn borer, makes this variety a reliable choice for cultivation under diverse climatic conditions. The branching coefficient is 3-4, and the initial growth intensity is rated at level 7, ensuring rapid plant development and good rooting.

Hybrid 400X36 is recommended for both monoculture and mixed plantings, with an optimal planting density at harvest of 170-200 thousand plants per hectare.
