VK 876 is an ultra-early sunflower variety with a 72-75 day vegetation period, allowing for its use in repeated sowings and reseeding. The plants are low-growing, with a height of about 148 cm, which facilitates care and harvest collection. The variety is adapted to stress factors, including prolonged dry periods and high temperatures, ensuring crop stability in complex climatic conditions. Optimal planting density is up to 60 thousand plants per hectare in main sowings and up to 50 thousand in repeated sowings.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests: it is resistant to a complex of rusts, sunflower moth, tolerant to Alternaria, and has high resistance to powdery mildew and gray mold. Additionally, the variety shows resistance to recent races of downy mildew and rust races A-E, significantly reducing crop loss risks.

VK 876 is characterized by high oil content in seeds — about 49%, making it attractive for the oil industry. Potential yield is 27-30 centners per hectare, and under optimal conditions can reach even higher. The variety is recommended for cultivation in semi-intensive and extensive technologies, and is excellent as a predecessor for winter cereal crops. The sowing period is extended to July 20, providing flexibility in agrotechnical measures.
