Sunflower hybrid Bogun is a high-yielding variety developed in Ukraine and adapted to various climatic conditions. It belongs to the mid-early maturing hybrids with a vegetation period of about 107-108 days, allowing effective use in steppe and forest-steppe zones of the country. Plants reach a height of 165-180 cm, have large heads with a diameter of 18-24 cm, and are characterized by uniform flowering and ripening.
Hybrid Bogun is distinguished by high drought resistance, ensuring stable yields of up to 5 tons per hectare even under conditions of insufficient moisture. Additionally, it possesses genetic resistance to major sunflower diseases such as gray and white mold, as well as resistance to sunflower moth. These qualities make it a reliable choice for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones.
The seeds of the hybrid are black, large-sized, and packaged at 150,000 per bag, which is convenient for sowing. The hybrid is suitable for EuroLighting technology, expanding its application potential in modern agrotechnologies. Bogun is a mastich hybrid, further highlighting its versatility and high economic efficiency for agricultural producers.
