Sunflower Bravo

Stable Yields in Challenging Conditions

When working with the Bravo hybrid from Himagromarketing, you realize it is a workhorse for those who prefer predictability over gambling with the weather and pathogens. From an operator's perspective, the 100-110 day vegetation period is a significant advantage, allowing for precise scheduling of sowing and harvesting, avoiding the rush before the autumn rains.

Field Performance and Disease Resistance

The best part of working with this sunflower is its natural resistance. You can forget about constant fungicide treatments for Phoma, Phomopsis, or rust. Growing to 150-160 cm, the plants show excellent resistance to lodging, which makes the harvest much easier for the combine operator. Its resilience against Charcoal rot and White mold is a major profit protector during humid and warm summers.

Economic Efficiency

The main trump card is the compatibility with the EURO-LIGHTNING (Clearfield) technology. Achieving a weed-free field is not just about aesthetics; it is about securing resources—moisture and nutrients—for the crop. An oil content of 45-50% confirms that the plant efficiently channels energy into seed filling. The seeds are large and robust, ensuring high quality for the processor. Planting this hybrid is a strategic move toward high-grade, clean grain.

• Vegetation period: 100–110 days (mid-early type).
• Technology: Clearfield (EURO-LIGHTNING).
• Agrotechnical benefits: Robust immunity against a wide spectrum of fungal infections.
• Verdict: Predictable yields and ease of harvest.
