El Lucio spinach is a mid-season hybrid of Dutch selection, intended for growing both in open ground and on home window sills. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to downy mildew, gray leaf spot, bolting, and leaf edge burn, ensuring a stable and quality harvest during the spring-summer period. The plant forms a rosette of leaves with a diameter of up to 20 cm and a height of up to 18 cm, with a weight of about 50 grams.
The leaves of El Lucio spinach have an oval-round shape and a rich dark green color, possessing excellent taste qualities. Due to the high content of plant fiber and protein, this hybrid is a beneficial and dietetic product, ideal for healthy eating. Young mini-leaflets are particularly valued in fresh form and used in home cooking, as well as for processing and commodity production.
