Dedal salad is an early-type Batavia variety characterized by high cold hardiness, making it ideal for greenhouse cultivation during the winter-spring period. It features a large rosette of leaves that are semi-erect, dense, slightly ribbed, and a rich dark green color. The leaves have an inverted egg shape, with a highly blistered structure, a slight wavy edge, and small incisions at the top, giving them an attractive appearance and a crisp texture. Plants reach a height of about 26 cm and a rosette diameter of about 25 cm, with a single plant mass of approximately 225 grams. The variety boasts a sufficiently high yield, reaching 5.6 kg per square meter. The salad is distinguished by its good taste and dense leaf texture, making it in demand for fresh consumption and various culinary purposes. Additionally, the Dedal variety is resistant to downy mildew (Bl 1-28) and lettuce mosaic virus (LMV), ensuring crop reliability and stability under unfavorable conditions.
