The hybrid sugar beet Candimax, developed by the French company Florimond Desprez, is characterized by high yield and sugar content potential. Candimax roots have an oval-conical shape and are about 85% buried in the soil, which contributes to their good development and preservation.

The content of non-sugar substances, such as potassium, sodium, and α-amino nitrogen, is below permissible levels, which positively affects the crystalline sugar yield during processing. The hybrid is resistant to drought, cold, various diseases and cracking, ensuring stable yields and good root storability.
Suitable for cultivation with medium harvest times, Candimax is appropriate for regions with similar soil-climatic conditions, providing producers with high gross sugar yield and quality product. Its resistance to adverse factors and technological advantages make this hybrid an attractive choice for the sugar industry.
