Rye Miranos

Danish breeding for modern agriculture

Miranos is the result of long-term efforts by Danish breeders aimed at developing high-yielding hybrid winter rye. In 2025, this hybrid was officially registered for cultivation in Ukraine. Its introduction to the market marks a new stage in adapting European grain production technologies to local climatic conditions.

Genetic potential and registration

The development of this hybrid was guided by the requirements of intensive farming. Its registration in 2025 confirms that it meets current standards for quality and yield. The Danish breeding school traditionally prioritizes lodging resistance and high tillering capacity, which are reflected in the characteristics of this hybrid.

Positioning in crop rotation

Miranos is positioned as a solution for farmers seeking stable performance even under fluctuating weather conditions. Due to its genetics, the hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to the soil and climatic zones of Ukraine, allowing it to compete effectively with existing market analogs. Integrating Miranos into production is a strategic move for farms focused on increasing the profitability of rye cultivation through the use of the latest generation of seed material.
