Rose SNOWY TYFON

Siberian Hardiness in Your Rose Garden

«Snezny Tayfun» (Snow Typhoon) is the result of long-term breeding efforts by the Botanical Garden-Institute of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, led by Olga Lyubomirovna Berezovskaya. This park rose variety was developed to meet severe climatic challenges, combining the aesthetic appeal of a classic bloom with a level of resilience rarely found in decorative garden cultivars.

Adaptation and Cultivation

The key feature of this hybrid is its incredible resistance to low temperatures. With frost hardiness reaching down to -35°C, it is an ideal solution for regions where traditional hybrid teas would require laborious winter protection. «Snezny Tayfun» consistently overwinters in open ground, recovering quickly to start a cycle of active flowering that lasts throughout the entire warm season.

Visual Characteristics

• Structure and Size: The bush exhibits significant growth vigor, reaching heights between 80 and 200 cm. This allows for versatile use, ranging from solitary plantings to serving as a structural element for hedges.
• Color Palette: The flower, measuring 7–10 cm in diameter, maintains a classic shape. The uniqueness of the hybrid lies in its color variance: the petals display shifts from soft pinks and warm yellows to deep oranges and vibrant reds.
• Immunity: High resistance to fungal diseases minimizes the need for regular chemical treatments, which is a major advantage for environmentally conscious gardening.

Choosing «Snezny Tayfun» means investing in proven breeding quality. The model holds a solid position on the market, becoming a benchmark for "indestructible" park classics for those who prioritize long-lasting visual appeal with minimal maintenance.
