Rose Lexhcaep

Excellence in Breeding: The Levacy Approach

The «Lekskhkaep» rose stands as a testament to advanced breeding, involving key industry players including Levacy, Lex+, and the Dìmmen Group. With pedigree contributions from renowned originators Hans Jurgen Evers and Alexander Jozef Voorn, this hybrid has established a solid reputation within the hybrid tea rose segment, meeting both professional and horticultural standards.

Botanical Profile

Designed for space efficiency, the cultivar maintains a compact growth habit, reaching heights of 60–80 cm with a canopy width of 30–50 cm. This size makes it a preferred choice for intensive garden planting. The classic flower shape, complemented by warm apricot and cream color tones, offers a timeless appeal suitable for diverse landscaping applications.

Resilience and Disease Resistance

One of the primary strategic goals behind the development of «Lekskhkaep» by Levacy was to address the labor-intensive requirements of rose cultivation. The variety shows a high level of intrinsic resistance to significant fungal threats, which reduces the need for heavy chemical intervention. The cultivar is notably resistant to:

• Powdery mildew
• Brown spot
• Mycosphaerella leaf spot

By prioritizing a strong immune profile, the originators have created a plant that performs reliably under varying environmental conditions, ensuring that gardeners and commercial growers can maintain high-quality aesthetic displays with reduced maintenance input.
