Early maturing variety, developed at the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko.
Obtained from crossing the variety Zoya with the form (Karakol x Altai Dessert). Authors: L.N. Zabelina, Z.S. Zotova, I.P. Kalinina, M.A. Lisavenko. Since 1984, it has been included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Northern, Northwestern, Central, Volgo-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, Ural, Western, and Eastern Siberian regions.
Medium-height, slightly spreading bush, becoming more spreading with heavy fruiting, medium density. Growing shoots are medium and slender, straight, green, woody parts are grayish. Buds of medium size, egg-shaped, pointed, golden-brown, without hairs, pressed, on a short stalk, solitary. Terminal bud is free.
Leaf five-lobed, medium, dark green, glossy, without hairs, wrinkled, leathery, blade concave, margin wavy. Lobes are sharp, three of them are well developed. Additional projections are present on the middle lobe. Side lobes are directed towards the leaf apex, angle between their midribs is obtuse. Basal lobes are poorly developed, their veins are spread out or directed towards the petiole. Base of leaf has an open notch of medium depth. Teeth are short, broad, with clearly defined 'tips'. Petiole is short, medium thickness, without hairs, green, slightly colored at edges, positioned at 45° angle to the shoot.
Flowers of medium size, bell-shaped, sepals light green, not closed, curved. Stigma is at the level of anthers. Inflorescences of medium length (up to 6.0-6.5 cm), hanging, axis medium thickness, green, curved.
Berries large (1.3-3.5 g), round, with ridges, black, with slight dull bloom, medium seed count, simultaneous ripening, sour-sweet flavor, thin skin, moist detachment, poorly transportable. Calyx is open. Berries are of universal use. Chemical composition: soluble solids — 11.7-15.1%, total sugars — 6.6-12.9%, titratable acidity — 1.9-3.1%, ascorbic acid — 147.4 mg/100 g, pectic substances (on fresh weight) — 1.0-1.9%.
Medium winter-hardy, drought-resistant, self-fertile, early-bearing, resistant to powdery mildew (0.5 points), affected by anthracnose at 1.0 point, septoria at 1.0-2.0 points, rust at 0-1.0 points, bud mite damage up to 3.0 points, average yield 7.0 t/ha (2.1 kg/plant), maximum — 13.0 t/ha.
Advantages of the variety: self-fertility, early bearing, high stable yield, large fruit size.
Disadvantages of the variety: moist berry detachment, poor transportability, insufficient resistance to bud mite.
