The winter rapeseed hybrid GORDON KWS is a high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in areas with insufficient rainfall, such as the Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polесье. It is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to various adverse factors, including drought, seed shattering, and pod cracking. Thanks to classical cultivation technology and a medium-early maturity period, the hybrid is suitable for mid- and late sowing dates, ensuring rapid spring growth and intensive lateral branching of plants. GORDON KWS exhibits high resistance to phomopsis due to the presence of the RLM7 gene, significantly reducing disease risk and promoting stable yields. Plant height ranges from 129 to 138 cm, and the vegetative period is 264 to 330 days. Early flowering and strong lateral branching contribute to high yields, which, according to data from the State Testing Service in the Stavropol Krai, reached over 55 ц/ha. Seed oil content ranges from 47-50%, ensuring high oil yield per hectare. The hybrid is produced in Germany and complies with the national standard DSTU-2240-93. Rapeseed GORDON KWS is versatile in application and suitable for cultivation on all soil types.
