The winter rapeseed hybrid GKH 0224 is a high-yielding, mid-season variety distinguished by high frost and winter hardiness, rated 9 points. This hybrid is adapted to various soil conditions, including humus-poor soils with a light granulometric composition, as well as modern No-Till and Mini-Till cultivation technologies. The vegetation period ranges from 285 to 300 days, ensuring optimal plant development under different climatic conditions.

The seeds of GKH 0224 have high oil content — 47% — making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production. The 1000-seed mass is 6 grams, and the branching degree of the plants is high, promoting better branching and increased yield, especially under sparse planting. The seeding rate is 450,000 to 550,000 germinating seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density.

The potential yield of the hybrid under production conditions reaches 4.7–5.5 tons per hectare, and on trial plots — 5.4–5.6 tons per hectare. The seeds are treated with a fungicidal protectant, enhancing their resistance to diseases. The hybrid also exhibits high resistance to lodging (9 points) and good drought tolerance (8 points). Glucosinolate content does not exceed 18 μmol/g, erucic acid — 0.2%, and oleic acid — 68%, meeting high quality standards.
