Gladius

Gladius — a mid-early winter rapeseed hybrid developed using the Safecross technology, characterized by high yield potential and excellent winter hardiness. Plants reach a height of 160–170 cm, with early flowering and medium maturity. This hybrid is well-adapted to drought conditions and quickly resumes vegetative growth in spring, ensuring stable crop development even under adverse weather conditions.

Gladius exhibits resistance to lodging and seed shattering, significantly reducing harvest losses and improving yield quality. Application of plant growth regulators is recommended to optimize plant development. Agronomic traits of the hybrid include high yield, winter hardiness, oil content, and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in regions with adequate rainfall, such as Central and Western Ukraine.

Practical experience shows that Gladius can achieve yields of 35–57 centners per hectare with seed rates up to 600,000 units per hectare. Its high winter hardiness and minimal harvest losses make this hybrid a cost-effective and efficient solution for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality winter rapeseed crop.
