Wotan

Winter rapeseed variety Wotan — a high-yielding and cold-resistant German variety, intended for cultivation under various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including forest-steppe, steppe, and prairie. This late-maturing variety features plant height ranging from 150 to 170 cm and ensures stable yields of 40–55 centners per hectare. Seeds are supplied in 10 kg packages, convenient for planting areas of various sizes.

The Wotan variety is distinguished by high resistance to major stress factors and diseases. It tolerates spring frosts and drought well, and also exhibits resistance to fungal diseases, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Plants have a strong stem, ensuring resistance to lodging, and the rapeseed pods exhibit high resistance to cracking, allowing for direct harvest without losses.

Rapeseed Wotan is adaptable to growing conditions and suitable for conventional cultivation techniques. The recommended seeding rate is 3.5–4.5 kg per hectare. Sowing can be conducted from early August to late September, providing flexibility in planning agronomic activities. Due to its characteristics, the Wotan variety is a reliable choice for achieving high and stable yields of winter rapeseed.
