ES Hydromel

ES Hydromel is an early winter classic rapeseed hybrid with high stable yield and excellent winter hardiness. It has strong early growth, allowing it to be sown both in optimal and late sowing periods. The hybrid is adaptable to various soil-climate conditions, well-suited to intensive cultivation technologies including No-till and Strip-till, and is not picky about soil types. Plants have medium height, intensive branching, and medium pod size, contributing to high yield.

ES Hydromel is characterized by high yield — from 45 to 55 ц/га, with potential up to 50 ц/га, and high oil content — 46%. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as phomopsis, cylindrosporiosis, sclerotinia, as well as lodging, shattering, and pod cracking. Early vegetation recovery and good compensatory density after winter ensure reliable yield formation even under challenging conditions. Recommended sowing rate is 400-500 thousand seeds per hectare, optimal density at spring vegetation recovery — 35-45 plants per square meter.

For sowing ES Hydromel, a depth of 2-4 cm and row spacing of 10-25 cm are recommended. Suitable cultivation zones include the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia regions of Ukraine. This hybrid is suitable for various sowing methods, including continuous and wide-row, making it a versatile choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable rapeseed yields with high oil content.
