Rapeseed Visby

Visby — this is a high-yielding hybrid of winter rapeseed, distinguished by stable and high grain yield reaching 50–60 c/ha under optimal moisture conditions, especially on heavy soils. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions, where it demonstrates excellent oil content in grain around 44.7%. Visby combines early maturity with high yield potential, making it an attractive choice for farmers aiming to obtain quality harvests within tight timeframes. One of the key features of Visby is its high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, ensuring crop preservation under challenging climatic conditions. The hybrid also exhibits high resistance to drought and diseases, contributing to stable development and reduced risk of yield loss. Thanks to intensive vegetative growth and a robust root system, plants quickly gain strength in spring, ensuring uniform and synchronized maturation, which facilitates harvest and improves grain quality. Visby is suitable for late sowing and effectively suppresses weed development due to rapid leaf mass accumulation. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation on heavy soils and responds well to growth regulators, allowing optimization of seeding rates and improved efficiency of agronomic practices. Its high regenerative capacity and adaptability make Visby a reliable choice for farmers seeking maximum return from winter rapeseed crops.
