SY Harnas

SY Harnas is a mid-late winter rapeseed hybrid selected by Syngenta, developed for cultivation in all rapeseed-growing regions of Ukraine. It is distinguished by high winter hardiness and excellent drought resistance, making it especially valuable for regions with unstable weather conditions and arid climates. The hybrid demonstrates stable yields up to 50 c/ha when proper agronomy is followed.

SY Harnas plants reach a height of 160–170 cm and are characterized by rapid spring development and moderate autumn growth. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to cylindrical sporiosis and good resistance to lodging, which helps maintain crop quality. The oil content of the seeds is high, enhancing the economic efficiency of cultivation.

The recommended seeding rate is 450–600 thousand seeds per hectare. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to use classical cultivation technology with growth regulators applied at early planting stages. SY Harnas is suitable for farms focused on stable yields under challenging climatic conditions, thanks to its resilience and adaptability.
