SY Marten

SY Marten — this is a high-yielding hybrid of winter rapeseed from the company Syngenta, distinguished by stable yields and high adaptability to growing conditions. The hybrid features a moderately intense growth type, with moderate autumn growth and average spring development rates, allowing successful cultivation in various regions of Ukraine. Plants are compact, with sturdy stems reaching up to 150-160 cm, providing high resistance to lodging and minimizing the risk of excessive growth with early sowing.

One of the key advantages of SY Marten is its high cold resistance and adaptability to stress factors such as frost and drought. The hybrid demonstrates increased tolerance to major rapeseed diseases, including sclerotinia and alternaria, contributing to stable yield even under challenging climatic conditions. Thanks to its rapid adaptation to the environment, SY Marten is suitable for cultivation across all regions of Ukraine, including areas with varying agroclimatic characteristics.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow intensive cultivation technology and seeding rate of 450-600 thousand seeds per hectare. Over three years of trials, the hybrid's yield varied from 37 to 53 centners per hectare across different regions of the country. SY Marten is an optimal choice for farmers seeking stable and high rapeseed yields with minimal risks, thanks to its resistance, adaptability, and resilience.
